OVGRC/OVPC CKC Trial

This past weekend saw us at Dreamfields for the Ottawa Valley Golden Retriever Club / Ottawa Valley Poodle Club CKC Agility trial (affectionately known as the “Goldenpoo trial”).
Tyra came home with her AGMXJ title (Agility Master Excellent Jumpers with Weaves). Ivan lost his brain, but mercifully found it in time for the last run where he earned his first Intermediate Standard Q.
Big congrats to Gill Shields and Myda who earned her AGMCh at the trial!

ABTC National Specialty

The beginning of May saw us heading down to Rhode Island for the American Belgian Tervuren Club Specialty. Lots to do – agility, obedience, rally and conformation. There was also herding, but we arrived too late for that because of the HiT of HiTs.

Ivan got his first novice JWW leg and Tyra got another EX JWW leg. They also go a leg apiece in Rally. Tyra took first place, but only because the others in her class both NQd 🙂

Marco showed well, taking 2nd place in 9-12month class at the specialty and then First place and RWD in the regional specialty on the Sunday.
