OK – so the nameservers are switched over and the blog is migrated. I can send and receive e-mails.
There is still a small problem needing to be ironed out for the online ordering system which I am working on. Orders are still processed, but an error message appears at the top of the screen. Most disconcerting. Hopefully I’ll have it figured out before long.

My website is moving hosts today so this blog, as well as my website, may be unavailable for a time.
Sunday saw the now annual veterans commemorative run at the Tibetan Terrier Club of Canada CKC agility trial at Dreamfields.. Penny, the club’s vice president, came up with the idea to commemorate all our veteran agility dogs of 11 years and older who are still with us and able to run. What’s even more amazing is that two of the dogs in the veteran’s parade are still actively competing in agility at the ages of 13.

Met Darlene’s new puppy, Ria, today. She’s 4 months old and a wicked little character. Well, not so little actually – 45lbs of charm 🙂
A couple more photos from the CKC agility trial – and the cutest puppy ever! The puppy’s name is Whistler and belongs to Linda Howie. I won’t say who the sheltie on the dogwalk is, but the owner should recognize the somewhat familiar sight….

My baby is 7 years old today! I’d like to wish a happy birthday to all the Blackcomb “Dream” babies.
Tyra is my special girl :-). Her achievements and her versatility are endless. She finished her Canadian championship just after her first birthday. She has her CKC Herding Tested title, which she earned easily. With her recent foray into the world of Rally Obedience, she has so far earned Rally Advanced titles in CARO and AKC and Rally Excellent in CKC. She has many agility titles in multiple venues (AKC, CKC and AAC). Her biggest achievement of all so far has been making the steeplechase final two years in a row at the AAC Nationals and winning her class in the steeplchase at the Ontario Regionals this year. She also placed 5th overall in both the 2009 Ontario regionals AND the 2009 Nationals at the Equestrian Park in Nepean.
